Launceston Friendly gala

We came second today at a friendly gala at Launceston's Phoenix Leisure Centre, rescheduled from last September.

The racing was fast and furious with teams from
  • Bodmin Dragons Swimming Club,
  • Devonport Royal Swimming Association,
  • Launceston Swimming Club
  • Okehampton Otters Swimming and Lifesaving club
The teams swam a mix of relays and individual events.

Some of our youngest swimmers had their first experience of competitive swimming in a friendly and supportive environment, cheered on by a deafening roar from the packed leisure centre.
